September 18th / Lyrical Exercise featuring Inner City South / Steppin Up Beauty & Barber 4565 Quince Rd

All artists are welcome to participate in our open mic at Lyrical Exercise. Enjoy all art forms in an intimate atmosphere. This month, our feature will be the husband and wife duo Inner City South. Complimentary wine and food items. $10, doors open at 8PM

September 19th / "Long Live the King" - Michael Jackson Tribute / Zodiac Restaurant & Lounge 6135 Mt. Moriah

"Long Live the King" ~ a celebration and tribute to the life and legacy of Michael Jackson. Art, raffles, music and dance. You don't want to miss the Michael Jackson dance off!  Tickets are $10. On Sept. 10th, tickets will be $20. To get your tickets, call 901 289 0490. 

September 28th / Memphizm Poetry Slam / Zodiac Restaurant & Lounge 6135 Mt. Moriah

Memphizm Poetry Slam, $10 - doors open at 7pm. Each month, poets battle for slam title, trophy and cash prize. Audience members get a chance to participate in raffles. So far, Memphizm has raffled a Flat Screen TV and Blu-Ray player. Enjoy great food, DJ, and poetry!
