AND THE WINNER IS......................

Ms. Dee-lite, of the dynamic husband and wife duo – INNER CITY SOUTH! She took home the $100 cash prize, trophy, and BRAGGING RIGHTS!

This month’s slam featured fierce competition from: AZ Truly, Seven, T-Remedi, Mister, Poetic Prince, and of course, Hardface. Ms. Dee-lite, along with Mister, Hardface and T-Remedi scored perfect 10's from all 5 judges, but in the end it was only Ms. Dee-lite and Hardface in a lyrical battle for the title!

Opening up our slam and bringing energy to the crowd was 18 year old rapper Tim, aka ROYAL‘T performing “Good Timez”.

Shout out to our special guest judges and business owners: Patrick Covington of Patrick C Photography, Joseph Boyd of Univer Soles, and Tamika Heard of Makedas Cookies!
It goes down again next month….June 29th…at Zodiac Restaurant & Lounge! WHO WILL TAKE THE JUNE MEMPHIZM SLAM TITLE?????!!!!!!
